7th Pay comission’s term has now been extended to 4 more months till 31 Dec 2015.
The Commission has stated that there is excess of pending workload to prepare final report.
Hence, the Cabinet gave a nod to extend the time upto 31st Dec 2015 for the Commission to carry out its work.
The commission may now take time till 1 jan 2016 to submit its report which may result in the delay of joining of 7th Pay commission.
